We pay our reverence from the core of our heart to Dominique Lapierre for his unremitting help for health care services to the people of Sunderbans. The Dominique Couple visit SHIS and the islands, every year from far away France, to be by the side of suffering population of Sunderbans.It is worth mentioning here that without their precious contribution, SHIS would not have achieved what it has done till now, for health care services. Their active participation in the health care project by donating steady flow of fund every year and arranging funds from International bodies for the poor people in Sunderbans has enabled SHIS to arrange mobile cum floating health clinic services for remote riverine blocks of Sunderbans. |
