SHIS took many developmental activities for the poor people. SHIS will always tend to implement the activities, which will be beneficial for the development of the Society. We can make a note of our ensuing Programmes that constitute our vision beyond horizon.
- Schools for deprived boys and girls along with complete hostel and full-fledged library facility, computer section and counseling department.
- More expansion of Malaria and Kala-Azar Control Programme and General Health Facilities to the poor and downtrodden people of remote inaccessible areas viz., forest and remote hill villages of North Bengal.
- Launching of satellite Eye Care Hospital in Malda to cater the very need of specialist eye care services. And gradually making it into a full fledged dedicated Eye Hospital.
- Establishment of a Maternity Home at Bhangar having facilities for Delivery as well as Uterine Prolapse cases.
- Establishment of New Vision Centre at Mobile Boat Dispensary and new Eye Hospital.
- Extension of OPD to a new State of the Art facility of the Eye Care Hospital.
- Extending of SHIS Ashadeep Micro Credit endeavour in the far corner of the Sunderban, particularly starting with implementation in ‘Mosumi Island’.
- Multipurpose Low Cost Training Centre to those underprivileged people with facilities of high quality training institute covering every subject.
- Mass Awareness of HIV-AIDS campaigns.
- Introduction of high end professional technical education courses affiliated to the renowned University of the State for the underprivileged.
